SIDA-LENS – hydrophobic monolithic acrylic foldable intraocular lenses (IOLs) are optical devices designed for use in cataract surgery (to replace the crystalline lens and reduce spherical aberration in the human eye). They are made of hydrophobic acrylic (acrylate-methacrylate copolymer) with a clinical-grade UV absorber and sterilized using ethylene oxide. These intraocular lenses feature biconvex optics with supporting elements.
