Intraocular lens (IOL) SIDA-LENS

The SIDA-LENS intraocular lens (IOL) is a lens (water content 26%) that filters ultraviolet light and is implanted into the posterior chamber of the eye. It is designed to be placed within the lens capsule, where it is intended to replace the optical function of the human eye’s natural lens. This monolithic, foldable acrylic IOL features aspheric optics with a 360° square edge, whilst some models also incorporate a blue light filter.
